One for the Honey – Honey Processed Costa Rica

We think this honey-processed coffee is the bee’s knees! Puns aside, there is no actual honey added to this roast. Instead, the coffee fruit is left on the bean during the drying process giving our One for the Honey Regal Roast its sweet taste and juicy body. A slow, careful roasting recipe produces surprising notes of red wine blends and fresh zucchini blossoms.
This is a half pound (8 ounces) Regal Roast.

If you like medium roasts but are looking for something more complex, try our first-ever honey processed coffee! Great for fans of our recent seasonal roast of Fair Trade Rwanda.

Our One for the Honey Regal Roast is sourced by Royal New York. They have a strong relationship with the growing and processing family:

Danilo Salazar is a famous and reputable producer in the west valley and has been able to pass down the knowledge or producing exceptional coffees to his son. Over the past 2-3 seasons (2017-2019) the Salazar family realized the opportunity and benefits of starting their own micro processing plant which allowed them to control the entire process from cherry deliveries to de-pulping the cherry and drying – thus the name Beneficio Los Cipreces. Cipreces name derives from the many native Cypress trees on the property of their micro mil.
